Contest: LOL My Cat and Win a T-Shirt

lolcat blogIt’s time for some Friday Fun. I’m going to steal one of the contest prizes from my latest group writing project and put it towards a very good cause… I’m giving away a Dirty Microbe t-shirt to whomever can create the funniest LOLcat image macro of my cat.

UPDATE: The prizes have been given out.

LOLcats are the image macros that are featured on I Can Has Cheezburger? and have created such further spoofs as LOLgeeks and LOLtrek. On April 1st I wrote a “how to LOL cat” guide. You might be interested in this how to speak kitteh guide as well.

The Rules

1. Download this set of images of my cat (zip file, 20 images, 560kb) or click on one of the thumbnails below to download the full size image (20-30kb)

2. Pick the image(s) you want to make into image macros

3. Upload it/them to LOL cat builder

(or you could use PikiPimp or use something like Paint.NET to photoshop it)
4. Write something and be funny

5. Post the link to the image as a comment on this post

  • Use your correct email address in the email address field! It will not be shown. Also include a link to your blog if you have one. WordPress.com users will have their email address automatically filled in if they’re logged in.

5. Send an email to lolcat99@gmail.com with the image as an attachment

6. ENTER AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT

In ten days my assistants and I will go through the entries with a fine-toothed comb and pick our favorites. The best one gets a t-shirt of their choice from Dirty Microbe. All the finalists will get some link-love and be credited.

    @bagel: Don’t worry about that smell, it should fade in about six to eight weeks. And you never know when you might find some spare awesome just lying around the house, so look around a bit! (My mom used to keep throwing it out so I had to hide it.) Thanks for the props! Back at ya’.
